We have an exciting new role for a part-time Operations Assistant who can bring their project management skills, organizational talent and customer services skills to our growing business.

Job Details

Job title: Operations / Project Assistant

Main purpose of job: You will work alongside the Management team to coordinate work allocation, invoicing, project reports and other administrative tasks

Managerial Responsibility: 0

Position reports to: CEO

Location: Remote (home based)

Length of contract: Permanent (P/T)

Salary: competitive

Main Duties

  • Working side by side with the Management Team to support client communication and project coordination.
  • Overseeing company operations and team productivity.
  • Evaluating and improving the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and implementing improvements.
  • Reviewing financial information and adjusting operational budgets to promote profitability.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and dispatch the appropriate teams on an as needed basis.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to execute Renovation and Maintenance projects.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Overseeing customer support processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve issues effectively-seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.
  • Overseeing adherence to the company's core processes and operating systems.
  • Quality control on all projects.
  • Effective communication with the team, clients and potential clients - maintaining an excellent relationship with all parties.

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload of self.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, & problem solving skills.
  • Technical understanding of systems, including but not limited to: Google Suite, WhatsApp, Accounting and Project Management software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects under pressure.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any one time.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Operate in a fast-moving environment and adhere to deadlines while producing high quality work each and every time.
  • Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team

9am - 5pm EST (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

We have an exciting new role for a flex-time Site Service Person who can bring their problem solving skills, technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail to our growing business.

Job Details

Job title: Site Service Person

Main purpose of job: To work independently or alongside a small technical team to complete repair, maintenance, store demolition and finishing tasks.

Managerial Responsibility: 0

Position reports to: Project Manager

Location: Remote (home based)

Length of contract: Permanent (P/T)

Salary: competitive

Main Duties

  • A successful candidate will be able to inspect work areas, identify work deficiencies or damage in need of repairs and problem solve to address these issues.
  • Experience working in small team and coordinating with others will be a strong attribute.
  • Comfortable working indoors in live work environments, construction sites and changing locations around the GTA.
  • Posses the ability to adapt to new and changing situations.
  • Able to complete tasks, record work and report in writing (via an app) to managers and the rest of the team. 
  • Work includes drywall repairs, repairs, tile and flooring repair caulking, minor carpentry repair work.

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize own workload.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Flexible availability between 8am - 5pm EST on weekdays and weekends.
